Promised Land 2022 tickets available! Meet the first speakers!

Get ready — Promised Land Art Festival returns to EC1 Łódź, Poland this August 31st – September 3rd! If you're anything like us and counting the days until this celebration of film, gaming, and other creative industries finally arrives, we’ve got a couple of announcements that'll whet your appetite even further!

Starting today, you can purchase your ticket for this year’s event, granting access to everything we’ve got in store for you. We’ll be talking about the specifics — and sharing a detailed event programme — as we get closer to the event, so watch this space (or rather the Promised Land website), but it's safe to say you can expect plenty of lectures, panels, workshops, masterclasses, networking opportunities, and more, from across the art world. In addition to the four days jam-packed with a variety of activities, each ticket comes with a welcome pack full of physical Promised Land goodies and vouchers for an assortment of food & beverage options available throughout the festival. Also included is entry to Promised Land Art Festival Open Day with its own, separate, game, film, and art lover-oriented programme.

One of the things that make Promised Land so special is the lineup of amazing speakers and partners we get to welcome and work with, and this year it’s going to be just as grand as ever, if not more so! But you don’t have to take our word for it, as from today onwards we’ll be posting news about everyone you’ll get to meet this year at Promised Land, starting with our first trio: Harvey Newman, Daniel Lupien, and Jordu Schell.

Harvey Newman is an Animation Director with nearly two decades of experience working in the game industry in studios such as Eurocom, Crytek, Lionhead, Creative Assembly, Axis, DICE, and Build a Rocket Boy. He’s helped to ship many award-winning titles from different leadership positions, including Battlefield V, Horizon Zero Dawn, Fable Legends, Star Wars Battlefront, Crysis 3, GoldenEye Reloaded.

Daniel Lupien has been working in both the video game and VFX industries for the past 21 years, focusing mostly on assets. He is also a practical prop maker. He specializes in texturing and for the past eight years has been working as an Asset Supervisor at Rodeo FX — where he has worked on many franchises such as: Game of Thrones, Fantastic Beasts, Aquaman, WandaVision, and Jumanji.

Jordu Schell has been in the film & television industry since 1987. His talent as a designer and sculptor is world renowned, and his credits include: Avatar, The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian, 300, Hellboy, Aliens vs. Predator – Requiem, Men in Black, The Mist, Batman Returns, Edward Scissorhands, Alien: Resurrection, The X-Files (1998), Predator II, Galaxy Quest, Evolution, Babylon 5 and many more.

For a limited time (and in limited quantity), Promised Land Art Festival Early Bird tickets are available, meaning you can currently get yours at a special, discounted price. But don’t wait too long — the offer remains available until June 30th, while supplies last!

See you at Promised Land!
