Announcing This Year’s Promised Land Open Day Programme!

Open Day, an event accompanying Promised Land Art Festival, will take place this year on September 4th. Much like the main portion of the festival, Open Day will be a fully offline event taking place in the EC1 complex — a former power plant now functioning as a cultural and artistic hub within Łódź, Poland.

There is a wealth of attractions available for Open Day participants. Among them are discussion panels and lectures by industry veterans, who will talk about video game development, film, animation, and pop culture — as well as a discussion panel from mentees who took part in CD PROJEKT RED and Perspektywy Education Foundation’s Girls in the Game! initiative. During the event, participants will be able to take part in portfolio reviews hosted by veteran artists, an excellent opportunity to glean ideas about further artistic development within the industry. Recruiters will also be available to discuss how to begin a career in the world of video games, while Open Day’s technological partners will present their newest tools and solutions utilized by specialists around the world.

The renowned comic book artist Grzegorz Rosiński has also confirmed his presence. Participants will have the chance to meet the artist and watch his process during live illustration sessions in the Art Emporium room.
