Alterpose is a space dedicated to the passion of creating. Founded almost 10 years ago and born out of a fascination with the human body and its anatomy, the studio offers classes and meetings characterized by their informality and casual nature, one that is conducive to artistic expression and experimentation. These classes are focused on demonstrating the beauty of the human body, its flexibility, and diversity — a far cry from traditional art courses involving one stiff pose. Alterpose also functions as a multi-purpose space for workshops, training courses, photography and video sessions, meetings, and parties.
Promised Land attendees will have the opportunity to participate in Life Drawing sessions with Alterpose models, which will take place in the Art Emporium throughout the festival’s run.
